Can you guess the 2 New Year’s resolutions that have been listed in America’s top five for four years?
In the last 4 years all of these have popped up as popular New Year’s resolutions. Which 2 have consistently made the top 5? Losing weight and eating healthier! 1 Are you surprised?
Sticking to a healthy diet and losing weight is often easier said than done, isn’t it? We start off with good intentions, but then our busy schedules throw us off track. Who can maintain a diet when there is no time to go to the store? Or how about being too tired to cook?
WOULD YOU LIKE A DIET THAT:
Doesn’t involve cooking or shopping,
Ingredients are free,
Has zero calories?
There is a perfect diet for you!
Are you curious? All it takes is changing a few things we ingest. I’m not referring to food, rather I’m referring to our thoughts. Stay with me a minute.
Every thought we have causes a corresponding chemical or neurological reaction in our body. The brain’s chemical messengers called neurotransmitters, communicate with the body to control everything including mood, metabolism, hormone regulation and dealing with stress. 2 Wow!
So, whatever New Year’s resolution we make,
our thoughts impact our success or failure!
To increase our likelihood of positive results, we should ingest a diet of positive thoughts!
WOULD YOU LIKE TO INGEST MORE POSITIVITY?
TRY THIS FLAP RECIPE!
DO YOU HAVE A NEW YEAR’S RESOLUTION?
Why not pray and ask the Lord for one? He knows exactly what we need. Then use the FLAP diet to ingest the Lord’s positive words and ways to encourage us towards success.
When challenging situations arise, by maintaining the FLAP diet with the Lord we can be prepared to rise above whatever comes our way.
REFLECTION
What diet are we feeding our minds?
PRAYER
Heavenly Father, as I write Joshua 1:8 and say it aloud, help me to recognize thoughts that harm my diet and throw them out. Help me to ingest FLAP; forgiveness, love, acceptance and Your perspective. Grow my faith so that I always have plenty to sprinkle on all that I do. In Jesus name. Amen.
IN FAITH, MAINTAIN THE FLAP DIET
